Field tests on professionals and private premises
In partnership with RESPIRE (the French national air quality association), testing of our e-filtration technology in situ, as well as the efficiency of using ALANA™ air purifiers distributed over a large space (such as a classroom), rather than using a single large unit. Reduces particulate pollution by a factor of around 2.
With the support of the municipality of Aubervilliers, the Plaine Commune community, the innovation platform led by the VINCI group, and with the assistance of VEOLIA, we experiment with our e-filtration technology in a nursery with a comparison between equipped and control rooms. Reduction of particle pollution by a factor of 3 in the equipped classrooms.
Measurement of dust in Romain Maldague's woodworking workshop in Paris and evaluation of the effectiveness of ALANA™ air purifiers. Emphasis on the importance of air purifier positioning and the benefits of distributed purification. Reduction of dust pollution by about a factor of 3.
In collaboration with the French ready-to-wear clothing group Beaumanoir to purify their premises in Shanghai. TEQOYA air purifiers suspended from the ceiling in a 2000 m² building. Two real-life measurement campaigns carried out a week apart, with several dozen particle measurement points. In 2 hours of operation, particle pollution was divided by three in the 2000 m² of open space equipped.
Measurements of fine and ultrafine particles in a 20 m² room with a ceiling height of 2.50 m, carried out by the CERTAM laboratory. The bedroom door was closed during the tests. Result: 15 minutes after the air purifier was switched on, particle pollution was reduced by 80%.
Tests on germs and micro-organisms
Laboratory testing of the H1N1 virus. Series of samples were subjected to controlled ionization. After 25 minutes, the number of virus particles had fallen by around 75%.
Laboratory test on the bacteria responsible for gastrointestinal problems. 95% bacteria elimination rate achieved in 2 hours.
Laboratory test on Klebsiella Pneumoniae bacteria, responsible for nosocomial infections (infections contracted in hospitals). Bacteria elimination rate of 99.9% achieved in 3 hours.
Laboratory test on Staphylococcus Aureus bacteria, responsible for nosocomial infections. 99.9% elimination rate achieved in 3 hours.
TESTS ON PARTICLES DOWN TO 7 NANOMETERS
Laboratory test on cigarette smoke particles, similar in size to those emitted by petrol and diesel engines. 75 m³ test room. Particle density divided by 2 after 40 minutes. Homogeneous effectiveness across the entire particle size spectrum (from 40 nanometers to 1 micron).
Laboratory test on ultrafine particles in the cabin of a truck. Particulate matter pollution in the cabin is divided by 3 after 5 minutes' use of TEQOYA Nomad.
Laboratory test on ultrafine particles in the cabin of a recent vehicle fitted with a class F9 filter. 90% particle removal rate after 250 seconds use of TEQOYA Nomad.
Tests on absence of ozone and safety
Laboratory measurement of ozone emission, according to the normative test applied to air purifiers to obtain CE certification. Measured level well below the normative requirement, within the sensitivity threshold of the measuring device.
Laboratory measurement of ozone emission, by accumulation in a 1 m³ airtight chamber for over 12 hours. Level measured very low, with no change attributable to the TEQOYA air purifier.
Laboratory measurement of global oxidizing potential using the RPE method, to detect the presence of any chemical compound with oxidizing potential. Operating the TEQOYA air purifier has no effect on the overall oxidizing potential of the air.
Tests on SVOCs
Laboratory measurement in a 1 m³ airtight chamber of the concentration of SVOCs (semi-volatile organic compounds), with and without a TEQOYA air purifier in operation. The air purifier exacerbates the particulate aerosol decay observed during terpene evaporation. No transformation of gaseous VOCs measured by mass spectrometry.
