Based on patented technology developed through 15 years, TEQOYA air purifiers are 100% ozone-free and diffuse a large number of negative ions into the air which gives it back its natural and healthy composition.
To measure the performance of its air purifiers on fine and ultrafine particles, TEQOYA carried out tests at CERTAM 2 on cigarette particles, which are among the finest in the world, as are emissions from petrol and diesel engines. The result: in 2 hours, these particles were completely eliminated from the ambient air.
TEQOYA has carried out a series of measurements in a bedroom at CERTAM. The decrease in particle pollution is very fast: in 15 minutes the pollution is reduced by 80%.
Since the summer of 2017, TEQOYA air purifiers have been installed on the ceiling in the open spaces of Group Beaumanoir in Shanghai. To check the effectiveness of the solution, two measurement campaigns were carried out at one week interval. These two campaigns have shown the same purification performance: particulate pollution has been divided by three in the premises of Group Beaumanoir!
TEQOYA air purifiers are installed in the ceiling of the Beaumanoir Group offices in Shanghai, close to the workstations. Two measurement campaigns were carried out a week apart. They showed the same purification performance: in 2 hours of operation, particle pollution was divided by three in the 2000 m2 of equipped open space.
TEQOYA has carried out pollution control tests in tractor cabs with CERTAM. The result: in just 5 minutes, the use of the TEQOYA air purifier can reduce the level of pollution in the cabin by a factor of 3.
These tests use an innovative protocol for nebulizing the virus, passing "under flow" in ionized air. Aerosols are representative of those emitted by human respiration. This innovative protocol was developed to overcome the lack of ISO normative testing in this area.
Tests were performed by Guangzhou Worldwide Standards & Testing Co. (GWSTC) to assess the impact of TEQOYA air purifiers on bacteria. Result: an elimination rate of 94%-95% reached in two hours
TEQOYA has tested the performance of its air purifiers on the Klebsiella Pneumoniae bacteria with the Korea Conformity Laboratorie. This bacteria is responsible for nosocomial infections (contracted infections in hospitals) occurring especially in the most fragile person: elderly, diabetics. Result: a 99.9% elimination rate is reached in 3 hours.
TEQOYA has also tested the performance of its air purifiers on the Staphylococcus Aureus bacteria with the Korea Conformity Laboratorie. This bacteria is responsible for nosocomial infections. Result: a 91.8% elimination rate is reached in 3 hours.
Most of the commonly used air ionizers can have negative effects on air quality, due to ozone emission.Tests performed by Intertek 1 were sucessfull: TEQOYA air purifiers diffuse in air a large number of negative ions and are 100% ozone-free.
To measure the potential emission of toxic substances produced by some ionisers (O3 ozone), TEQOYA carried out tests with an ozone analyser. The ozone concentration was monitored to check whether or not there was any over-concentration attributable to the TEQOYA air treatment unit. The result was that no ozone emissions attributable to the ioniser were detected.
Most of the commonly used air ionizers can emit hazardous chemicals, mainly oxidants. To remove any doubt on its own products and go beyond ozone measurements already published, TEQOYA has subjected its products to the EPR test, which is the most adapted to detect the smallest quantities of any oxidant chemical. Result: TEQOYA air purifiers are perfectly safe: measurements are identical to the ones of healthy air.
Evidence of effectiveness on the COSV / SVOC (semi-volatile organic compounds / semi-volatile organic compounds). Additional evidence of non-emission of ozone by TEQOYA ionizers (measured by accumulation in a confined confined space of 1 m3). Evidence of the complete lack of transformation of terpenes and the absence of nanoparticles.
CE marking is a certification mark that indicates conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA).
