Always looking for solutions to decarbonize our activities, we will make a donation to the French association “Semeurs de Forêts” (Sowers of Forests), which advocates for square meters reforested and ringfenced... And that changes everything!
Reforestation projects are multiplying all over the world - and that's good! - due to the awareness of the importance of the Earth's ‘green lung'. However, not all projects are alike and the “Semeurs de Forêts” go deeper in its engagements: “The race for the ‘number of trees planted' is sometimes done to the detriment of the quality of the plantations, and above all, without taking into account its maintenance", warns the French association. [1]
The widespread error also consists in carrying out monospecific plantations without any ecological interest, or even more destructive than beneficial concerning the quality of the soil or biodiversity. In France, this is mainly the case with massive plantations of resinous wood (from conifers), and we saw last summer how little resistance these monoculture-planted forests have an impact on the spread of wildfires.
A very common mistake is to plant monospecific trees without any ecological interest, or even more destructive than beneficial concerning the quality of the soil or biodiversity. In France, this is mainly the case with massive plantations of resinous wood (from conifers), and we saw last summer how little resistance these monoculture-planted forests have an impact on the spread of wildfires.

*A monospecific forest is composed of a single type of tree, a single species. An invasive species can prevent other species from growing.
“Semeurs de Forêts” engages itself in long-term choices. This is why this French association reforests on land it first acquired so as not to depend on political uncertainties or changes in the owners' vision. It favors the diversity of plant species (more than thirty on their land), plenty of space between the trees, young shoots well nurtured, and free evolution.
Their vision is to create even larger reserves on the French territory, where nature and biodiversity will find refuge.
Since TEQOYA's creation, eco-responsibility has been in our DNA: air purifiers designed to last, manufactured locally, without any consumables, with 100% recyclable packaging...
Let's protect our forests together: during our seasonal promotions, 1m² will be reforested and ringfenced for each TEQOYA air purifier purchased! 🌳

Natural environments are rich in negative ions. This is precisely the principle on which the air ionizer is based on. However, do you know how this technology manages to capture the pollution particles contained in the indoor air to purify your home?
In December 2019, a respiratory virus of the Coronavirus family appeared in the Wuhan region of China and has now spread to all continents.
Purifying indoor air while protecting your health and the planet is possible! Say goodbye to filters and make way for negative ions: choose an eco-responsible air purifier that will easily reduce energy and resource consumption.
