About TEQOYA

Before founding TEQOYA, Pierre Guitton was looking for a concrete answer to his daughter's asthma. Where should I place the TEQOYA Nomad ionizer in my vehicle?

An ionizer works by filling the air with negative ions, so to quickly experience its benefits, we recommend placing it as close to you as possible. As the TEQOYA Nomad needs to be plugged in, most users place it near the power socket on the dashboard.

Does the TEQOYA Nomad ionizer make noise?

None. An ionizer does not use an electric fan, which makes the TEQOYA Nomad completely silent (0 dB). It is also designed not to create any distraction while driving: no light and no audible signal.

Can I open the window while using the TEQOYA Nomad?

An ionizer purifies the ambient air, so when you open a window, this air is replaced. The TEQOYA Nomad will continue to work, but there will be a short delay before the incoming air is fully purified. This does not mean you should not ventilate your vehicle—on the contrary. However, if you drive with the window open for the entire trip, you can unplug the ionizer during that time.

Can the TEQOYA Nomad be used for long trips?

Yes, this is its main use. It is the preferred ionizer for truck drivers and professional drivers. Whether you are commuting, going on vacation, or spending the entire day in your vehicle, the TEQOYA Nomad works continuously without interruption.

Why purify the air in my vehicle?

The air inside vehicles can contain up to five times more pollutants than outdoor air. On the road, this exposure is even higher due to exhaust gases, tire particles, and the many gases emitted by vehicle interior materials.
