What Does the Air Quality Monitor TEQOYA S1 Measure?
The TEQOYA S1 air quality monitor continuously measures and analyzes:
- The PM2.5 mass concentration index for fine particles
- The number of particles floating in each liter of air and an estimation of exposure to nanoparticles, to more finely assess your air quality based on a calculation method developed by TEQOYA
- The relative humidity
- The temperature
Once installed in a room of your home, it will indicate the level of risks based on the various measurements taken.

About TEQOYA
Pierre was looking to help his daughter, who suffered from asthma.
He discovered the benefits of an air ionization system developed by Jacques Breton, an eminent Professor, and member of the New York Academy of Sciences, who spent more than 15 years studying air ionization.
This systems works by emitting negative ions, without generating ozone or any chemical substance, to neutralize polluting particles. It was then proven by research, but not offered to the general public.
But in 2014, a huge peak in air pollution happened in Paris. This became the trigger who motivated Pierre to create TEQOYA, and share this technology with as many people as possible.

With your TEQOYA S1 sensor, you will receive a QR code that you just need to scan to connect your sensor to our online platform: AirObserver. Accessible from any connected device, such as your mobile, computer, or tablet, AirObserver does not require any download.
The TEQOYA S1 air quality monitor continuously measures the concentration of fine and polluting particles, humidity, and temperature. Our AirObserver platform allows you to see these measurements, as well as an analysis to interpret them: exposure rate to harmful particles, daily variations, outdoor air quality to know when to ventilate...
The international reference for air quality is the mass of all particles smaller than 2.5 microns (PM2.5). This indicator undervalues submicron particles, whose mass is very low. To establish health-relevant measures, the TEQOYA S1 sensor also measures the number of particles (PM+). Thus, it takes into account all particles, including the smallest and therefore the most dangerous, with the same level of importance.
Once installed, the TEQOYA S1 air quality sensor analyzes the data almost immediately. Nevertheless, to have a representative view of the air quality in a room during its different phases of activity, we recommend taking the measurement over a period of one month minimum, which is why we have implemented the Tester Mon Air offer.
